greeting from newcastle! =)

yesh... finally after what seems like ages... I'm BACK!! hehe... yes its been ages since i last update, but i'm pretty busy settling down and assignments and the whole bunch... I sure miss malaysia.... actually, i have been here for almost 4 weeks over.... 32 days if i'm not mistaken... =P and yes, sometimes the feeling of homesickness & lonliness still creeps somewhere within me. I have roommate (Jenn) yes.... nice and sweet gal... i'll talk bout her more later in this post...


Here are some long lost picture that i should have uploaded AGES ago... yeap... these are trully memories that'll last a lifetime for me... really touched by the gatherings planned by my friends and also a special thanks to Richard Chen who's apparently the mastermind behind all of the gatherings before i flew off to australia... oh, and this time i wont be labelling all the people in it like i usually do... feeling a bit lazy actually... =P forgive me for my apparent laziness, but after my exams today, i just dont seem to have the mood to do anything in particular...

that's when they handed me a little pendant with a blue stone in it... cant remember what's the exact name of the stone, but its really pretty! apparently its suppose to help reduce stress or something like that... there's a meaning behind that crystal stone thing... for further enquiries, do not hesitate to call mr. richard. =) they said that the pendant is from 'all of us'... so should be those ppl who attended my party... anyways, thanks a bunch guys! *hugz*

i just had cheesecake, but yea... observe the pic and u'll notice i'm attempting to open a jar of CNY goodies to eat... since i wont be in m'sia for long... better eat up! else i'll regret like now... next year i'm soooo going to stuff my self with all those CNY goodies! yea, during that night a few of my friends gave me some gifts as a farewell present... thank you all so so much for it... I honestly didnt expect them to give me anything or even have a blueberry cheese cake... Richard was the one who planned the cake cause he know that i simply LOVE that cake... and yes, it is among my top fav cake in my list... i would say the party went on pretty smoothly... after eating and all i took everyone out for a stroll around my neighbourhood when suddenly.... no electricity?? -.-' but the power supply came back not long after the blackout so... yea, wasnt' all that bad... =)


i felt quite sad when my friends had to leave cause i wouldnt be seeing them till next year... honestly... i felt like crying...it was a good thing one of my friends (ying) also probably one of my closest friend stayed for the night with me...if she hadnt stayed the night with me, i think i'll cry that very night after everyone has left... =') but since ying was there, the fact that i wont be seeing my friends till the following year (or so i thought) didnt seem too harsh on me... but whatever it is... love u guys!! =)

actually, they came to my house at 4pm where my flight was at 2240 that night... i must say i was not only surprised that they came, but i was indeed deeply touched that they took the effort to see me off... and even followed me to the air-port! Richard gave me chocolates too since it was valentine's day... really sweet of him for that... but i didnt get to eat it though... =) its really the thoughts that count, and i really appreciate for all the things u guys have planned and done for me. and... i got to eat kit kat right before i left my friends and family! hehe.. not bad eh? i still get to eat choc for valentine's this year! hahaha... =P have to thanks either reny or richard for the kit kat... (yes, i know i'm greedy, a food monster or whatsoever.... sue me! =D)

and nowww... Newcastle!!ppl who contacted me throughout my stayhere in australia knew that my room lights and stove werent working for the first 10 days when i was here.... and to add on to that, the fridge also died on me for a few days too! jinxed or something? i dunno... but now that everything is fixed...i'm happy! there's actually lots to write bout my stay here but once again feeling lazy... so i'll just do a brief intro of newie (newcastle) and a bit of pic to do the talking for me...=)



and now i shall introduce my campus! hahaha...lost of trees but not that many buildings.... (its a policy that trees herehave to be taller than the buiilding bythe way....)

that's the place where i had to bring AUS8,000 in CASH to pay my tuition fees... and whats better... they're all in AUS50 notes cause the bank ran out of AUS100 notes... so yea... brought 160 AUS50 to pay for my fees....i seriously felt a bit richer for that 10 minutes, holidng that much cash in my hands for the first time... convert back to m'sia ringgit will be like.... RM24,000.00 leh!!! not bad! =P

oh, and one more thing... back home in malaysia, when the cashiers count notes, they'll use this machine thingy to count... even if its just 10 notes, they'll use the machine to count... here? all count using hand! so i had to wait there and watch them count, 1 by 1, the 160 AUS50 notes... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, .... 157, 158, 159, 160! *faints* and if thats not enough..... when i took the cash to the cashier, i have to ONCE AGAIN observe the cashier count all 160 AUS50 notes! so here goes.... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, ... ... ... ... ...-.-' zzzzzzzzzz.... ... ... ...158, 159, 160! sheesh... now now... lets go on with our little tour around university of newcastle shall we?

yeap, its a huge library all right... equiped with IT section and even a little cafe for people to grab a bite after the long hours in the library... not bad eh? they have a place where its supposingly open for 24/7 for students to use the internet access... but no way am i going there at wee hours in the morning just to get online... i'm not so insane...

Let me introduce a bit of my roommate Jenn... she's also my lab partner last year in taylors... from malaysia, and most guys finds her attractive! seriously... i wont tell out y here... u have to ask her yourself if u wanna know the true story of what happened *winks* so yea... if u're wondering how am i gettin along with her, i would say we're getting along fine... =) nothing extraordinary happened... we treat each other as friends and all... I normally do the cooking, she does the washing... but like i've said earlier on, she's one sweet gal, and always helps me while preparing meals... we more or less share out the stuff needed doing around the room so yea... but i dont do cleaning at all cause i really really HATE washing up... i rather risk cutting off my fingers by acccident *choy! touch wood* than to do washing... =P nah... just joking...



but really... i couldnt ask for more for a better roommate. Its not easy finding someone to live with without fighting or anything... Ideally, i am not only contented having jenn as a roomie... i am grateful to have her as a roomie...i know i can rely on her for help and that she can help me kill spiders!! *grins* =) yea, better stop praising her, afterwards she make me do washing up then i'll die... *hope she doesn't read this*=D not only she's my roomie, she's also my companion to most places be it shopping or grocery shopping or even just a mere 10 min walk to class... so yea... now its like... u see me, expect to see jenn and vice versa.

ahhh... the beach...




yea, this beach here is BEAUTIFUL! clear blue seas and fine off white sand... simply beautiful... and also the place where my senior threw me into the sea... right... should really 'thank' them for that... but overall, we had fun... the beach is also located near this ice-cream shop that sells really yummy ice-cream!! whoever who come visit me in newcastle... i'll bring u guys there! and taht's a promise... =) i actually got darker by spending just a day in the beach... and darker by a lot! good think i didnt get sun burn though...

our college, barahineban came in SECOND for mass particpation! YEA!! feeling proud... =) and yea, that's the first time i've ever cheered so loud for a competition... i thought i would have lsot my voice next day... and the day afterthe swimming compettion...we got free pizza! i think i had 10 or 11 slices... managed to try every flavour! day after pizza night, had 3 types of cheese cake + 1 choc cake + 1 cuppocino cake... total, 5 slices... supposingly to share with jenn the cake but the cake was too sweet for her...so i happily finished up all of them...=P yes,i am greedy, dont have to remind me! but i seriously had a huge craving for cakes then... =) now that craving is off, i eat back to normal... =P
