January... what shall I do?

Ok, I know its bout time I update this almost dead blog of mine... if i have any readers... hahaha, sorry for the delay but there's just so many things to do! okok... lets see... chinese new year is just around the corner, those who knows me well will definately know that i'll be busy baking CNY goodies for my relatives. this year we'll bake less... lazy to bake. Probably i'll bake a b'day cake for my bro if i have the time too... (his b'day coincidently falls on the 1st day of CNY, AND he's born in the year of rat too!) what else have i been doing... shopping, visit night market, buy stuff that i need before i fly off to australia to further my studies... ya, pretty much that's about it.

of course i also spend my days seeing all my doc... optician, general practitioner... get all the medication (or vitamins) i need and... injections? ouch! i just had a jab today, and have to get back to the clinic somewhere next week to get my 2nd jab... what else.. i also need to see the dentist on the last day of jan for dental check up too. more or less... i guess i'm all set for autralia... on the outside! on the inside... i feel somewhat sad. i'll miss my frenz dearly, my family... and especially my room and electone! it'll be like... a part of my life will be left behind here in m'sia. *sobz*

latest update i have is... ice-skating!! WOOHOO!!! finally i get to go for my ice-skating with some friends...

Me + pik yuen (before skating... all excited about it and all...)

me + jessie (full length)

Initially it was only me, reny and pik yuen. Since it was only my 2nd time skating, i really had to cling onto the sides of the rings for quite a while before i learned how to move forward, and then learn to let go of the railling at the sides. reny was kind enough to follow pik yuen all the way behind to make sure she doesn't falls while I go galavanting around the ring! But also a big thanks to sherly *bro's gf* (not sure bout spelling) for guiding me too.

Not long later, meng soon and richard came along and joined us. Meng can really skate while Richard... still not bad... better than me i think. I think meng is really the sifu for the day, best skater among all of us. Reny & Richard are still ok... I think they're like me, just learned to skate.. I'm not sure bout them, but i fell 4 times while skating. Pik Yuen on the other hand didn't fall so good for her. A big thanks for pik yuen who came to teman me, meng, reny & richard for helping me up whenever i fall / trying their best to make sure i dun fall.

Oh, and i've learned how to move backwards instead of just forwards! Major improvement for me... the next time i skate, i wanna learn to skate straight, without falling, without stopping. =)

now this's a better pic now tat richard's not resting his head on MY head!

me & jessie (after skating)

hmm... the pic taken here from my hp are not so clear... sadness... =P okok, so that was the most interesting event that has happened so far to me recently... the day after skating... gosh... my butt hurts, muscle sore and backache from all the fallings in the ring !! so much for stamina and all... gotta learn to work out or something...

the day after skating, i went for some pre depature talk at Sharaton Hotel, Subang where I meet some of my coursemates and loadz of new faces. My seniors were there too. The lady whom we've meet in another pre-departure talk somewhere last year (Hope Tancinco i think) was there to guide us on what we should bring to australia, what to expect and stuff like that. Her speech was quite useful... she mentioned bout something on vacination card and our requirement to fill it up by our own doc / GP (general practitioner) note, 'We' refers to the nutition and dietetics ppl cuz we'll be doing community work and all soon. at the same time, the little discussions we had with the seniors (kimberly and jeremy i think) was helpful & fun at the same time! for those ppl who wants more info on the pre-depart talk... go to yvonne's blog please... =P she blogged bout it really in detail.

okok, so now's a good news for my dear ex-darling YING... i have FINALLY finished my little work of cross-stitch!! well, so far i've done a pic of a flowe... well, a rose...a bloody, crimpson red rose to be exact... and the other pic is a cute, small little gal holding a puppy and a kitten in each of her arms. Now I've been doing this pic of the lil gal since end of 2006, and it wasn't untill yesterday i actually finished it. Okok, so i've been slacking and didn't do my stitching 24/7... but at least I managed to finish it before I fly off to australia!

The lil' gal pic... (glasses as a... scale? so tat HY can see how big izit)

The rose pic

Together = MY masterpiece!

eh? y izit the pic taken here, also with my hp cam is way clearer than the ones i've taken for skating? ahh... nvm... =) yeap! no doubt that i'm proud of it though there's some obvious mistakes in the lil gal pic... =( not satisfied with that picture... but on the other hand, lazy to redo... the cost of tat pic (cloth + strings) is about... RM80 i think... not cheap, yes... but the effort is the real killer! the ONLY thing needed for this little 'project' of mine is one word... patience...

REALLY!! but the satisfaction felt after completing just One picture? priceless... =)

i might be going for a 2nd round of paintball on the 1st february... that's if i can get transport... sooo.... who's interested??!! =) sms / call me k?

till then world, signing off!

*my arm still hurts a little from the injection!* =P
