holiday update

i cant believe it.. in a nick of time my roomie's back! time sure flies... 2 weeks of my holidays are almost over, that means tat i'm only left with a miserable week of holidays. y are my holidays so short??!!! i have yet to have enough rest yet.... soooo... since jenn's back from malaysia i got a few stuff too.... among them are:

1. a new bottle of water
2. letter and card from home
3. medication
4. my repaired camera
5. my repaired watches
6. bank draft (money at last!!!)
7. a gift from a close fren
8. erm.... company at night?



my lil gift from a close fren back in m'sia.... =) i will learn how to make those toooooooo!!!! =P but yea... before that.... a very big THANK YOU for the gift! love it and yea... just... thanks! =)

so.. now tat jenn's back... we gals are back to our 'brilliant' ideas to pass time where this time... jenn'll be my personal hair dresser for the day...

with that the "professional" miss Shim straightened my hair for me to remove that silly frown off my face =) thanks cheryl for letting us crash to your place, finished up your snacks and borrowed your room to be jenn's temporary hair salon. =P

KL (my one and only soft toy in newie) now has company... its a huge HUGE yellow bear that belongs to jennifer of which, has received undying attention from everyone since jenn brought it to the air port back from malaysia to australia. even when the new bear is back in bara, it hasnt stopped receiving attention from people who paid us a visit here in bara...

suke's from adelaide studying same course as us but in flinders uni... gosh, it has really been ages since we last saw her... probably we'll see her again next year when we visit Adelaide... or at least... we intend to... (searching for sponsor to sponsor my trip to adelaide next winter) we had a nice decent meal down in newcastle city where we had pasta for dinner, and cakes for desert. the 8 of us ( 6 of us + kim and seng hoe) later proceed to fanny's to check out tat place before heading for uni when suddenly some lunatic ppl threw eggs at us as they drove pass us... right... memo... wednesdays are not a good day to stand around the street doing nothing! (wednesday are student's night where we students get free admission into pubs and clubs) so... suke and jenn got a bruise on their leg when the egg hit their leg and the rest of us are perfectly ok... i would consider myself pretty lucky cause when i looked around, i saw there were eggs in front and at the back of me... THANKFULLY none on me! =) but yea... those ppl should just drop dead and disappear from the face of this earth!

so... wat did i do while jenn's away? pretty much... nothing much other than eat, sleep, online, occationally follow my frenz for classes in the gym and... yea... messing up the kitchen and after that complain about cleaning up after my own mess. *winks* it was then i realised that i really, trully, seriously missed my dear dear roomie! =P hahahahaha... so yea... made lots of wierd stuff but didnt take much photos of them.


sago + honeydew + soy milk (if u're wondering y i used soy milk, its cause there's no fresh santan and i HATE normal milk) it taste like... well... soymilk + honey dew + sago lo... so considered a pass la


my so-called 'fried rice' where i put in so much stuff till i dun think i can even see the rice =P fried rice is a good dish especially u have leftovers u wanna get rid of

and after that i experimented on making cheese cake (yes again....)


instead of the usual butter + biscuit base, this time its butter + choc+ biscuit base! but... big mistake... choc & butter hardens when its cold so the biscuit base was extremely hard... hard as rock! >.<

together, the cheese mixture for the so-called 'cheese cake' that isnt exactcly cheese cake either... i should name it the 3C cake or something like tat... choc+coffee+cheesecake. so anyways... after alternating a layer of cheese with coffee cheese with cheese again before finalising with choc cheese.... this is what i got as my end product...

erm... not very appetising from the top... its not easy making the top layer smooth without having it to harden in less than 10 seconds! >.<

and.. want the latest update back here in newcastle? all righty! results for finals are out and i passed 3 out of 4 subjects for now... >.< *yikes* NEWEST update from this every so silly writter of this blog... i've lost my IC... yes, that little blue malaysia identification card of which most ppl calls it 'MYKAD' when did i realise that it has "mysteriously" walked off my purse? well, that was last wednesday when the bouncer asked us for any form of ID to proof we're above 18 years of age when we wanted to go clubbing. HELP!!! i feel like slapping myself real hard across my face for being so careless... >.<

*sigh*

shu lin, shu lin, shu lin... when will u ever EVER learn?
